Laurie Stinson was born in Minnesota and raised two children in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. At the age of 49, she had a spiritual awakening that led her on a journey to understand her childhood abuse and gift of knowing. After writing The Blessing of Abuse, she moved to northern Colorado and currently teaches a writing class at a local community college, Healing from Writing, an 8-week workshop devoted to understanding childhood abuse through the writing of your own spiritual autobiography. She is currently writing her second book, My Soul’s Journey, Experiences. She supports and champions the fight for children's rights in Colorado and all over the world.
Laurie's story, from an abusive childhood to a life filled with Spirit, is engaging, moving and inspiring.
